Who is Amazin' Grace?

AG is a Gospel recording artist, and youth ministry leader who takes his calling seriously. He likes to gives me creative freedom, but also desires to remain in the creative process. Trying to find a balance between urban influence and modern design to help him be relatable, yet mature and serious was a small challenge.

Logo and Promo Design

For AG's logo, I wanted to design something simple that could be used for his stage name, as well as his abbreviated stage name. I went with a geometric shape, since it would allow me to design the letterforms similarly. Once I got the forms down, then the next step was to add something to make it a little more unique. Soon as I aded the cross, it all made sense.

Web Design

AG wanted a clean, easy to navigate site, since he had a minimal amount of info he wanted to include. Once I had a particular brand for him through some of his promo material, it was easy to translate that to the digital format. I wanted to use some of the cool photos that were shot of him as an integral part of the design. I also thought of using unconventional wording for the menu.

Born Winner Album Design, EPs and Album Release Promo

Starting with the main album design, I wanted to use that as the base and foundation for the rest of the EPs and promo material. Since he had a few EPs he wanted to release a cover for, I thought it would be great to use the same treatment, but use different colors for each featured artist.
